Abstract Modern Living by Emran Al Sham

This project presents a sophisticated interior architectural vision based on the philosophy of "elusive simplicity," where minimal geometric elements merge with bold artistic details to create a comfortable and contemporary residential environment. A warm color palette (Beige & Warm Gray) was selected for the walls and floors, with strong accents of royal blue introduced through furniture pieces and artworks, adding vitality and energy to the space. In the living room and home cinema, slim-lined black metal shelving units stand out, reflecting a delicate "Industrial Chic" style, while white marble with gray veining was used for the screen backdrop to add a touch of luxury. Lighting was employed with supreme intelligence, ranging from the modern chandelier with glass spheres to the fluid "neon" lighting in the bedroom, which has been transformed into an art piece in its own right. The design focuses on the smart utilization of space, seamlessly integrating the dining area and kitchen with the living room while maintaining a unified visual identity based on circular and abstract shapes in paintings and mirrors. This makes the residence an ideal space for those seeking tranquility blended with the spirit of modern art.

The project was conceived as a dialogue between the client's aspirations and the inherent character of the space. Every material, finish, and proportion was considered in relation to the whole — resulting in an environment that feels both resolved and deeply personal.
